Text formatting.

What sort of text formatting can one do? I remember Dorothy mentioned that we can't choose our fonts. I know we can bold, and I believe we can hotlink. What else can we do (or can't we do)?

    You can bold, underline, italicize, and hotlink, use symbols like • and ¥ and so on, and insert images.

    You can't indent with tab marks, or (on some platforms) use bulleted lists that are set off. I do my bulleted and numbered lists with paid software (Mac only). You can't make tables and charts (although you can insert those as images).

    We'll be discussing this stuff this week. By then, I'm hoping everyone has a decent chunk of their content pinned down to work with.

Hi there, I'm trying to format my book according to Smashwords Style Guide. It is a little long and takes some time , but I think it is useful. What do you think?
