Slowly but steadily, I am working on my 12 Months' materials. Here is January (the Holocaust) in the making. A few words of explanation: it was originally a plan based on abstracts from Anne Frank's Diary and I tried to find ways to still use the story, but not the quotes. Let me know if you think it can work like this. Thank you!

    I like this lesson plan and the ideas in it a lot. This could be a three or four period lesson. The activites are well-structured. Could you add in a question to ask students if something similar to the Holocaust ever happende in their country (for example - the Korean students learn about the Japanese occupation of Korea in the early 20th century and how whole villages were razed, kids in South Africa learn about the Boer War and concentration camps and later the apartheid era suppression).
