I definitely vote for either 3 or 4 - I love the background image in those to. Number three is classy, but I also like the combination of the background imagine with the yellow shade that you used. I am normally not a fan of yellow, but this one is really nice and warm. However, O&G in the circle does not say much, I'm afraid. So for now, 3 looks more ready to use, but I would experiment with yellow too, if I were you. Oh, and I love the yellow stripe with your name at the bottom. Hope it all helps :)
Number 1 looks definitely great and in your ebook (displayed on iBooks) gives the sense of what your book is about. Just need to edit vocabulary as there is a typo in this cover... 😉
Hi everybody, Glad to meet you all here in this amazing iTDi learning journey. I'm Aziz Soubai from Morocco. I'm an EFL teacher with 8 years of classroom practice. I have a huge interest in online learing , language games and educational technolgy. I learnt a lot from iTDi professional development courses and I feel that I still need to learn more. Publishing my own ELT materials will be a huge accomplishment form me. And I think Dorothy is the perfect person to show us the the inns and outs of self-publishing. Regards
Here are the first few pages with my new topic (I changed it a few days ago) to better reflect my interest in teacher well-being. I learned today that well-being is spelled with a hyphen in Canadian English. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwo_ITamV68qbWdacEUzT0w5bUk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwo_ITamV68qbWdacEUzT0w5bUk/view?usp=sharing
Hi there, I'm trying to format my book according to Smashwords Style Guide. It is a little long and takes some time , but I think it is useful. What do you think? I mean is there some kind of short cut? A simple way to learn from it. Do we have to follow and apply everyting ? https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/52 https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/52

ReplyDeleteI like #1 (if you add a space between Oil and &) and #3. For #3, can we see all the words in a larger size? For the title and subtitle.

ReplyDeleteI must say I prefer #4. It seems somehow to be more of an ELT book than the others - I associate #1 with an engineering handbook.
ReplyDeleteI like number 1
