Can it be done?
•What will the final product look like—text? images? size? format? length?
•How much have I already written? How much is left to do?
•How much of the thinking/planning have I already done? How much is left to do?
•When do I plan to write?
I would like to use a combination of simple text and simple images. It could be letter size pages, although I don't know if it is possible. With regards to length I think 10 simple lessons to begin with could be a good product and enticing enough for them to use. Perhaps if it is too lengthy teachers might not be interested. I have several lessons written, I just need to put them together and organize them coherently. I have been thinking about this for the last year and I believe it is only a matter of putting it together. I plan to write in the afternoons.

10 lessons sounds do-able--depending on the length of the lesson, but I think it will be fine. How long is each lesson (of the ones you've written, I mean)? In words (that is, how many words per lesson)? You will quickly learn with ebooks to think in terms of word count and not page count, since there isn't really any such thing as a "page." Fortunately, MS Word will count our words for us, so we don't have to. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Dorothy, with regards to lessons I have 5 that I am organizing this week. The word count more or less is between 250-350 average but if it needs to be reduced and simplified I can do that. Let me know how that works to adjust and publish in the material drafts for you to see.
