Hi - as you can see, my name is Leonie.
Hi - as you can see, my name is Leonie. I'm way beyond the age of consent, having been born just past the middle of the last century, in South Africa. I currently live and work in South Korea.
Last year my daughter, who had been living with me, died, and I've decided it's high time I publish some of the children's stories we did together - she wrote and I illustrated. I also have a stack of stories and lessons and things I've developed and used in classes here in South Korea that I want to get out into the wider world.
I'm really excited about joining this course!

What a touching story ... Nice to meet you Leonie.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you Leonie!! Sorry about your loss, you are surely a strong woman and example for many! Looking forward to learning about your materials! :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your daughter! My goodness. But what a lovely way to honor her. We can certainly work with that sort of thing (picture books) as well as ELT stuff.
